Saturday, June 3, 2017, Body by Ken Bootcamp for Women and Body By D Gym faced off in the sand to raise money for Dante Herrera. The focus of this competition is to help raise money for Dante's ongoing medical expenses.
Dante has been battling with the rare Batten Disease for years. This fatal condition slowly attacks the nervous system and has required several surgeries.
Body by D would like to congratulate Dushawn Hooks and Maria Calloway on setting a goal to compete in their very first physique and bikini competitions. They entered the OCB Colonial Open and after 21 weeks of prep, on July 1st, they came home with first place in the following:
Men's Physique Novice Class A, Women's Bikini Novice Class A and Women's Bikini Open Class A. Dushawn also placed 3rd in Men's Physique Open Class A.
Congratulations to the champs!
